The Sheraton Gunter Hotel was recently re-dedicated. Included in the re-dedication ceremony was the announcement of the completion of its $8 million renovation. This restoration included guestrooms, meeting space and the hotel's public areas. We invite you to stroll through the Gunter, as she has never looked so proud. The Sheraton Gunter Hotel's roots date back to the first year of the Republic of Texas, and assures the Gunter a prominent place in Texas history. In 1837 the corner of what was then El Rincon and El Paseo was home to the Frontier Hotel. The Sheraton Gunter Hotel is a historic landmark boutique hotel built in 1909. The hotel has its own full-service upscale cafe and bakery, all-day room service, banquet facilities, and an evening pub lounge with a big screen TV and happy hour buffet. It also boasts a heated pool, exercise room, sundry shop and barber shop.
