Built by the philanthropist J. Graham Brown in 1923, the award-winning Camberley Brown Hotel has been at the center of the city's social life since its opening. The Georgian Revival-style exterior is faced with brick and trimmed with stone and terra cotta. Interiors designed in the English Renaissance mode, are richly appointed with antique furnishings and feature lovingly preserved details such as intricate plaster moldings, coffered ceilings, stained glass, Bottocino marble, polished brass and mahogany and oak accents.
